Gain a Comprehensive and Organized View of Software

The Software List provides a consolidated view of all programs found across the network, organized by name, version, vendor, and number of installations.

This list simplifies detailed analysis of the IT environment, allowing you to quickly identify the most used software, predominant versions, and potential inconsistencies or risks.

This feature is essential for planning updates, managing licenses, and ensuring compliance with the company’s software usage policy. Having this organized overview makes software management more efficient and transparent.

On this page, similar to the Hardware page, there are indicators at the top of the page that serve as filters for the listed software below.

There are general counters that provide information about the Licensing Status of the Software. This status is pre-identified by Almaden at the market level for companies.

Filters

Device Type Filter

Select the type of devices between Micro Computing and Infrastructure.

Advanced Filter

If you prefer, you can create advanced filters by selecting: Licensable, Software Approval, Software Type, and Manufacturer.

Note: To export the list of devices that have the listed software, it is mandatory to select an item from the Advanced search.
The “Export” button on this screen only affects the list of displayed software.

Advanced Search

Select the filter method.

Contains

List devices containing all selected software
List the devices that contain at least one of the selected software

Does not contain

List devices that does not contain any of the selected software
List devices that does not contain at least one of the selected software

Select the software and click Generate Report to view the devices with the selected software.

Advanced Software Report

Click “Export” to export the search results.
