Installation of the Almaden ADA Agent on MacOS


Download the latest version from the Almaden portal.

  • Type: HTTPS
  • Address: environment-receiver.almaden.app. (check your environment and change the address by. (lad1 or lad2).
  • Port: 5760

Step by step for installation

  1. After downloading, copy the downloaded package to the target MacOS machine where you want to install Almaden Agente

  1. Run to start the installation and in some cases, on MAC there may be a need to enable package execution safely on:
  • System Preferences > Security & Privacy > In “Allow apps downloaded from:” enable the execution of ada-1.0.7-en.pkg

  1. Follow the installation steps (you will need to enter your machine username and password to proceed with the installation).

  1. Once installed, click on “Close” and then on “Keep” if you want to keep the installer stored
  1. After installation, the Agent will be available in Launchpad, run it to start the configurations.

  1. It will inform you in case of new installation, click OK to proceed.
  1. In cases of editing an installation already carried out, click on “Configuration” and enter the machine’s username and password to authorize the editing
  1. Fill in the configuration data, as follows:
    Customer Information:
  • CID/CustomerID, e.g: yourmasteraccount@almaden.ai (Verify your master account.)
  • Department: Depending on the desired choice option. Ex: MacOS.
  • Endereço: environment-receiver.almaden.app. (check your environment and change the address by. (lad1 or lad2).
  • Port: 5760.
  • Transmission: This will be the Agent data sending time in minutes. The recommended value is 60 so that the Agent updates every hour.
  • Virtual machine: Check, if applicable.

  1. Clicar em Salvar para manter os dados configurados
    Estando tudo ok, o Log (botão abaixo) irá exibir o status: Sucesso: true Code: 200.

  1. It will be necessary to restart the Agent to send the information, if it has started, click on “Stop” (you will need to enter the machine’s username and password), and then on “Start”.
  1. The data can now be consulted in SmartCenter. If there is an error in Starting the Agent, contact our Almaden Support through our ticket portal.
