Account Management, Permissions, and Organizational Structure
The Settings module in CIQ ITAM serves as the central hub for managing your organization’s structure within the platform. It enables administrators to configure and control user accounts, access permissions, associated devices, and departmental hierarchies.
This module is critical for defining “who sees what and who can do what.” You can create subaccounts for different roles within the company—such as technicians, managers, or analysts—and specify which devices they can manage and which departments they have access to.
With this structure in place, your organization ensures secure, segmented administration aligned with internal responsibilities and hierarchy. It also facilitates audits, prevents unauthorized access, and enhances governance over assets and data monitored by the platform.
